Consultant at Global Hospital, Parel, Mumbai

He continued as a faculty for a short period of time at Vellore in order to complete his research on adult acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and later proceeded to the United States, Houston, to pursue an additional one-year fellowship in management of leukaemias at the distinguished centre of excellence for cancer care, MD Anderson Cancer Center, till June 2016. Working with renowned experts at MD Anderson Cancer Center gave him an additional opportunity to conduct research and at the same time helped him gain insight into several newer protocols useful in the management of lymphoblastic and myeloid leukaemias.

His speciality includes managing several bleeding disorders like haemophilia (factor deficiencies), von Willebrand disease, thrombophilia (inherent ability to excessively clot), refractory anaemias, thrombocytopenia, aplastic anaemias, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative disorders like polycythemia, thrombocytosis and myelofibrosis. He treats blood malignancies like leukaemias, multiple myelomas and lymphomas. In addition, his passion lies in conducting autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants in several diseases like thalassemia, aplastic anaemias, multiple myelomas, immunodeficiency disorders and several leukaemias/lymphomas.

He has joined the department of haematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant unit at Global hospitals @ Parel, Mumbai, as a hemato-Oncologist with a complete focus on the evaluation and management of both benign and malignant haematological disorders, and bone marrow transplants. Patient enquiries or referrals for the management of bleeding disorders, clotting disorders, leukaemias, lymphomas, aplastic anaemias, and patients requiring autologous or allogeneic bone marrow transplants can contact me for consultation.

He is a member of the Indian society of haematology and transfusion medicine (ISHT) and the association of physicians of India (API).
